Our next TGC East Bay Lunch will be taking place this coming Wednesday, September 20th, 11:30am-1pm at The Fourth Bore in Orinda.

We will continue our conversation around the The Gospel Coalition Foundational Documents. We will look to focus on article 3 of the Theological Vision for Ministry, article 3 (the Contextualization Issue)

Some questions to consider:

• What does it mean to be "counter-culture for the common good"? What does it not mean?
• Where do you and your church tend to lean on the contextualization scale, i.e. Under-Contextualize (1) to Over-Contextualize (10) - think on a scale of 1-10. Why? How are you hoping to make progress toward a Biblical Balance?
• What pitfalls or stumbling blocks have you experienced as you seek to flesh out the Contextualization principle?

Other things to consider:

• We are a gathering of pastors who face unique challenges. So, what one prayer request do you have that we can bring before God in prayer on your behalf?
